The Foreign Affairs Committee of Germany’s Parliament (the Bundestag) is set to discuss Macedonia at its 70th session scheduled on Wednesday.
Recent developments in the country will be debated at a session behind closed doors scheduled at 9:00 am.
Other topics set to be discussed by the members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs include the situation in Africa and the GermanTurkish relations, Russia, Kosovo, Lebanon, etc.
Usually, the committee is convened after officials of the Foreign Ministry present information in relation to the items of the agenda.
The last time Macedonia was discussed at the Bundestag was in March 2015 when the committee debated information prepared by Ernst Reichel,the former special envoy for Macedonia.
The sessions of the Committee on Foreign Affairs are closed for the public.
