The external testing of students' achievements in this academic year, will start on June 7 and end on June 11.
The National Examinations Center (NEC) has said a total of 178,648 students of primary and secondary schools will take the test for 1,972 subjects.
NEC has previously published the exam questions for all the subjects. The students take tests for 2 subjects, for which they learn about three days prior to taking the exam. This means that students who will take the exam on Tuesday have been informed which subject they will take an exam for on Friday.
Due to the secondary school matriculation on June 28 - 29, the results if the external tests will first be published for the 9th grade students (June 13), and for all other students on June 17.
The external testing was introduced in 2012/2013 in order to check the objectivity of teachers when grading the students.
