Macedonian Culture to Be Celebrated at International Francophone Festival in Sozopol

Macedonian culture will be celebrated Monday at the 6th International Francophone Festival in Sozopol, Bulgaria.

At 02:00 pm in the offices of the Council of Municipality Sozopol, the director of the Macedonian Culture and Information Center in Sofia Vasko Sutarov, along with several professors from the Sofia University will hold a lecture on diplomatic protocol.

In the evening, at Sozopol's Archaeological Museum, the exhibition 'Connection2' will open, at which works of Macedonian painters, who work or study in Bulgaria, will be presented.

This year, the authors prepared works with French themes.

Works by Perica Ivanov, Zoran Misev, Goran Trickovski, Ivo Pecov, Pavel Celkoski, Marjan Dzingarov, Jana Lulovska, Slobodan Miloseski, Adriana Jovanoska, Ice Ognenovski, Ivan Stoimenov, Jovica Milenov and Mirjana Ivanova will be presented.

In the same venue at 08:00 pm, a piano and violin concert will be held by Momcilo Kufoyanakis and Vesna Angelova-Hristova.

An international art colony will also be a part of the Francophone Festival 'Soleil', at which Macedonian artists will take part for the first time.

Works inspired by Sozopol will be presented Tuesday by artists Mirjana Krsteva-Maseti, Andrijana Manciev, Ivo Pecov and Marjan Dzingarov.

Beside the presentation of Macedonian culture, the festival also presented the cultures of France, Belgium, Romania, Lebanon, Turkey, Bulgaria, Georgia an Morocco.
