
A total of 16,859 secondary school students will take the state exam this year, the National Examinations Center informed on Wednesday.
The state exam is a set of several external and internal exams through which students’ knowledge, skills and abilities, acquired during the four-year secondary education, are tested and evaluated.
First external exam mother tongue and literature will be taken on Saturday (June 4) and the second exam (mathematics) will be taken on June 9.
A total of 10,730 secondary school students applied for Macedonian language, 5,424 for Albanian language and 428 for Turkish language. And 2,335 candidates will take exam in mathematics.
The elective exam (foreign language or /philosophy/esthetics) will be taken on June 13 and June 15.
2,314 teachers and 200 test observers are included in the testing process.
