United States President Barack Obama said that foreign political leaders "have good reason to be worried and nervous", by the statements of the pretender of the Republican Party to the White House, Donald Trump, the American media reported. Speaking on the sidelines of the Summit of the G-7 held in Japan, Obama said Trump has shown "self-confidence and ignorant attitude" towards international issues and questions.
According to Obama, world leaders were surprised by his nomination.
"World leaders are not sure how seriously to take some of the statements by Trump and with good reason, because most of his proposals represent, ignoring the international issues or are with a self-confident stance", Obama said.
Media reveal that Obama tried to downplay such concerns of the lead of the Democrats over the battle for the nomination of Hillary Clinton and the Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, adding that during the primaries, generally, people "become irritable and grumpy" as well as that one of the main differences between the Democratic and Republican Party in this year's race is the Democratic candidates are not so much ideological such as the republican.
So far, there is no response from Trump and his election headquarters of the public polling of the Republican candidate and his behavior towards international issues and global politics by the US President at the Summit of the G-7. New York's billionaire usually without choosing nice words, immediately reacted, dealing with all his critics, mainly through Twitter or on his public appearances.
Earlier, Obama criticized the whole Trump’s campaign, publicly urging him, that to be a president of the United States, is not like being part of a reality show.
