There are currently a total of 53,731 migrants and asylum seekers in Greece, the Government informed on Wednesday.
According to the latest data, 39,277 migrants and refugees are located in northern Greece, 13,981 in Attica, 8,212 on the eastern Aegean islands, and the rest are situated in different parts of the country.
A total of 55 new migrants have arrived in Greece in the past 24 hours.
