
Six ministers and deputy ministers of EU member states will visit Greece in the next couple of days so they can express their solidarity, Greek media report. The visit is scheduled for Friday and Saturday. The ministers will be welcomed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Nikos Xydakis. He will familiarize his colleagues with the measures being undertaken in relation with the migrant crisis.
The European delegation will be comprised of representatives from Netherlands, France, Slovaki, Italy, Portugal and Malta.
The ministers will be greeted by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, and on Saturday they will hold a meeting with Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, Migration Minister Ioannis Mouzalas, and Thodoris Dritsas-Minister of Shipping and Island Policy.
On April 9, the delegation will go to Turkey where a meeting will be held with the Turkish Foreign Minister.
