The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) in Skopje opened its new laboratory that will allow students to work on ten tables equipped with industrial computers for managing production processes.
During the presentation, FEIT Dean Mile Stankovski said that the systems have SCADA software that allows for management of complex processes.
"This enables us to perform student exercises that are actually real, industrial processes", Dean Stankovski said.
Several companies such as Arcelor-Mittal, Atronika and Siskon, as well as Inea from Slovenia, made donations to the laboratory, that was designed by the FEIT Automatics and System Engineering Institute. It was built entirely by FEIT students.
