International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia on Thursday confirmed convictions of Mico Stanicic and Stojan Zupljanin of 22 years in prison. Court of Appeals confirmed their sentences, which should make them final.

Former Interior Minister of Bosnian Serbs, Stanisic and his deputy Stojan Zupljanin in 2013 were convicted of crimes against humanity and war crimes committed during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are accused of ordering the deployment of security forces in settlements or in prisoner camps where there were Muslims or Bosnian Croats.
