Dojran has attracted a record number of tourists this June, with thousands of guests currently enjoying the town and the lake.
"The capacity of beds in the private sector stands at 12,000. During this weekend we expect about 8,00010,000 tourists", Silvija Ristic of the Dojran Tourism Bureau told MIA.
Dojran is this year's City of Culture, hosting a number of cultural, art and entertaining events.
"A rich program brings about 100 events, including concerts, theater plays, exhibits, art colonies and festivals", said Dojran Mayor Borce Stamov.
Dojran expects to surpass last year's record of 200,000 nights spent during the summer season.
