President of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Gruevski pointed on Saturday that through the “Buy a House, Buy a Flat” and “Youth Housing Project”, over 900 families who previously had not owned a home, now have a roof over their heads.
“Almost EUR 6 million worth of subsidies have been approved within the 2 projects so far. The “Youth Housing Project”, which started recently, is dedicated to people under the age of 35, and allows up to 2 thirds coverage for the expenses for constructing or purchasing a house. Some EUR 261,000 have been approved for the project, which started this year, and already 13 families have fulfilled their dreams of owning a house, with great help from the Government, help that has not been seen before,” Gruevski said.
