No matter how hard the opposition tries to diminish our work, efforts, attempts at opening new job positions, and no matter how persistent it is in deterring investors, we will still make the effort to bring in new investors, even in hard times like these, because, as we know, the biggest problem of young people is unemployment and their biggest need is to get employed, to get a chance to get ahead and prosper in order to realize their dreams, VMRO-DPMNE leader pointed out at Saturday's 25th annual conference of the Youth Force Union of VMRO-DPMNE.
"Their dreams are ours as well. We dream the same dream and we fight for its realization together. When we gained the people's trust in 2006, the unemployment rate stood at 38 percent. The following years were difficult, with a global crisis going on, then a European crisis and finally a political one. There were many obstacles on our path, but our will was strong and our strategy well established, we gave it our all and the unemployment rate now stands at the lowest level in history-24.5 percent. We need more new job openings, we need higher salaries and a better standard, we need advancement and a further decrease in unemployment. The economic team of the Government is working hard on these issues", Gruevski informed.
He added that together with the Youth Force Union of VMRO-DPMNE they have been working on hundreds of new youth projects aimed at fulfilling the needs of young people.
"Together with YFU we fulfilled the visa liberalization conditions for Macedonian citizens, and together with YMF we brought in a huge number of investors that opened over 150,000 new job positions in Macedonia. Together with the YFM we made Macedonia rank as 12th in the world and 6th in Europe for having the best business environment.
