Following the session held late on Monday evening, the SDSM central board has welcomed the successful policies and has authorized its leadership to continue the process aimed at finding a way out of the political crisis, the opposition party said.
The central board has welcomed the fact that the two key conditions presented by SDSM have been met, i.e. the June 5 elections were postponed, and the president's general abolition decision was fully withdrawn, the press release reads.
"This would have been impossible without the huge commitment, bravery and decisiveness of the thousands of citizens who were peacefully and dignifiedly protesting on the streets in Macedonia to return justice, freedom and democracy," it adds further.
The president, and the SDSM leadership, have been authorized by the party's central board to continue the process on existing the political crisis by 'providing and securing the rule of law, the equal effect of laws, as well as meeting the terms for holding regular, fair, democratic and credible elections'.
