Lawmaker Ljubomir Josifovski is a company manager and a member of Parliament, which is why the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption has concluded there is conflict of interests.
Officials with the authority say that Josifovski is an MP from the lines of the NSDP party, while at the same time he is the manager of a trade entity, i.e. firm that deals with data processing, hosting and similar activities - Infogroup LLC, Skopje.
The commission has notified Josifovski about the concluded conflict of interests and asked him to give up one of the positions.
It said Josifovski did not act in line with the request, therefore the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption has decided to issue him a public warning.
