Ljupco Nikolovski, member of the Executive Board of SDSM on Wednesday filed criminal charges against the current Deputy Minister of Economy, Hristijan Delev.
According to Nikolovski, Delev should respond how he made agreements for the release of companies close to the government from paying rent for large areas of more than 5 thousand hectares of state agricultural land.
Deputy Minister of Economy denied Nikolovski’s accusations and said it was a lie that he signed contracts with the concessionaires for exemption from payment of land rent annually.
"In all the contracts I have signed in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management concessionaires are obliged to pay an annual fee for rent", Delev said.
He noted that all contracts have been reached earlier, during the government of SDSM and all agreements, as he said, was signed by SDSM Minister Slavko Petrov.
