VMRO-DPMNE stood and still stands behind all commitments stipulated in the Przino agreement, whose ultimate goal was to hold snap elections in which citizens could decide the political option that has the capacity to lead the Republic of Macedonia out of the crisis that the SDSM has plunged into it, it is said in the reaction of VMRO-DPMNE to the statement Damjan Mancevski, vice president of SDSM.
Mancevski said on Thursday that one of the biggest benefits of the Przino Agreement is the establishment of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office and added that the essential objective of having the SPO is to restore the rule of law.
VMRO-DPMNE however, respond that the purpose of last year's agreement in no case was the SDSM to acquire the power without legitimacy from the citizens and to misuse this position indefinitely, while blocking reforms and projects.
The say that MPs of VMRO-DPMNE in the Assembly voted a law to establish the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office and supported the budget of EUR 4 million, which Katica Janeva required. On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE clearly said it would not support the unprofessional, selective and illegal conduct motivated by political reasons.
In the reaction they say VMRO-DPMNE has fully complied with all obligations arising from the agreement.
"SDSM constantly running away from confronting the elections because it is aware that from day to day little popular support falls and wants at all costs to delay the tenth defeat, hoping for a miracle", the statement reads.
