The Macedonian Opera and Ballet, in cooperation with the foundation 'Tose Proeski', will make a musical in honor of the late singer Tose Proeski. It will be based on an original screenplay by playwright Ognen Nedelkovski, who also wrote most of the lyrics for Tose Proeski's songs.
The musical part will be realized by a team of renowned composers which will remix Proeski's most famous songs.
"The musical will premiere at the beginning of next year when the 10th anniversary since the singer's tragic death will be marked. Since Tose was also an incredible opera singer, we think that a musical will succeed in creating a wonderful piece of work which will encompass the all of the singer's creative qualities", Igor Durlovski, director of Macedonian Opera and Ballet, said.
