The Macedonian Writers' Association marks 85 years since the birth of poet and writer Ante Popovski.
In his honor, the association will present his yet unpublished literary essays.
Doctor Kristina Nikolovska will present this relatively unknown segment of Popovski's work, while actress Sofija Gogova will read excerpts.
Popovski (1931 - 2003) is considered a leading poet, with his books "Flashlights", "Vardar" and "Defiance" seen as the pinnacle of Macedonian poetry.
