Croatia has been obstructing the talks on open bilateral issues and Zagreb demands those negotiations to be raised on a higher political level, said Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic on Tuesday.
In a statement given for Danas daily, the committees, that need to discuss the problems targeting the relations between the two countries, were established several years ago, but they just do not work.
According to Dacic, these committees do not do their job because the Croats obstruct their work, arguing the problems cannot be solved by committees, but that the talks need to be lifted at a higher political level.
Asked whether that has been done, i.e. whether in the meantime the Croatian and Serbian secretaries in the countries' foreign ministries or their prime minister have met to tackle the bilateral issues, Dacic said, those meetings have still not been held.
