The president of the Democratic Alliance party, Pavle Trajanov, has suffered a traffic accident that occurred over the weekend on a regional road, near the town of Demir Kapija.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to information of the Interior Ministry, the accident took place on Saturday around 4:00 pm, on the A1 regional road, near the area known as Vodisarska Reka. A Fiat Punto with Stip license plates, driven by 32-year-old A.N. from Kocani and a Skoda Superb carrying Skopje license plates driven by 64-year-old Trajanov directly collided.
The passengers of the Fiat, two men from Kocani aged 29 and 56, suffered serious injuries. They were treated at the hospital in Negotino, but due to the gravity of their hurts, they were taken to one of the Skopje clinics.
Trajanov and his co-driver, M.T. aged 60 from Skopje, were taken to the hospital in Veles. The co-driver sustained mild injuries, while Trajanov was unharmed.
