A false bomb threat at the elementary school 'Braka Miladinovci' in Struga was the reason why classes were cut short at 10:00 am on Wednesday.
According to the school's director Selkim Aliu, police officers arrived at the school and asked for the children to be evacuated due to a bomb threat.
"Police officials from the Interior Ministry came and told us to evacuate the children without causing panic. We evacuated the pupils without a problem. They suspected that a Bulgarian vehicle located near the school was rigged with explosives. Experts from Skopje and Ohrid arrived on site, and after investigating the scene, they determined that there is no threat. He pointed out that classes resumed according to schedule.
Police are working on clearing up the case completely.
