
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of European Affairs Arbr Ademi, met on Monday with the Italian Ambassador to Macedonia Ernesto Massimo Bellelli, with who he discussed the current political developments in the country after the Constitutional Court decision for temporary suspension of legal actions resulting from the decision on dissolution of the Assembly.
As the SEA announced, interlocutors emphasized that it is important in the next period to take steps to fully meet the obligations of the political agreement in an inclusive and transparent manner and the obligations of urgent reform priorities.
"The integration into Euro-Atlantic structures is a strategic priority of the country and there is no other alternative, Ademi said, adding that support from the EU, US and other international institutions is especially important", the statement reads.
In terms of the bilateral cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister Arbr Ademi and the Italian Ambassador Bellelli stated that it is on a particularly high level and they advocated for its enhancement, the statement of the SEA said.
