The secret to ending a crisis successfully is very simple. The long-term political solution to any crisis must be internal, domestic. Only that solution is sustainable, and can give a perspective, stated Russian Federation Ambassador to Macedonia, Oleg Shcherbak.
He based his claim on Russia's long history of many victories, but also many crises, which the country overcame by itself without any help from the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, or other foreign institutions.
"We did it on our own, and we preserved our identity and sovereignty," said Ambassador Shcherbak, answering a reporter's question at a press conference set up for the occasion of marking the Russian Days of Spiritual Culture in Macedonia.
