Sandbags are placed on the auxiliary entrance to defend one of the galleys of Vardar after water level of the river increased significantly after the heavy rains that swept the country. The first galley is very exposed to the swollen water, which, according to what can be seen from the outside, probably already entered into the lower rooms of the ship-restaurant built on the Vardar river. It's the galley which is near the building of the Macedonian posts.
The second galley, which is after the Stone Bridge, along the Vardar river is in a better position. However, the water there almost rose to the first row windows which are located close to the level of the river. The third galley, which is still under construction, there are no damages.
Overflowing Vardar collapsed part of the levee set on the place Ferris wheel is built,and part of the construction machines placed near what was once the "Stone Bridge"beach are now under water. It is usual for this time of the year the level of Vardar to increase, due to intense rainfall. New rainfall so far is not announced.
