
A new kindergarten with a capacity to accommodate 50 children opened in Jegunovce municipality on Sunday.
Forty-six new kindergartens have opened thus far, with 1213 to be put into use in 2016.
"The percentage of children in kindergartens is on the rise. The ministry's intention is to build kindergartens not only in big cities, but also in rural environment", Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov said.
VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski said inhabitants in smaller places are now urging for the opening of kindergartens, which is good for the children's socialization.
According to him, Jegunovce kindergarten will provide care for children of different ethnic communities, who will learn about coexistence from an early age.
