While foreign diplomacy in the country, headed by the US Ambassador Jess Baily in recent days puts tougher pressure the abolition to be withdrawn by the President Gjorge Ivanov, teaching him that "those who practiced crime have to face responsibility", probably not so pleased he recalls of the great abuse of power of the President of the United States by Bill Clinton.

Not so long ago, less than 5 months, US "New York Post" reminded of the Clinton crime with his abolition of Marc Rich, published in January 2001, and still qualified as "most shocking abuse of presidential power" yet, "Dnevnik" reported.

Here's what happened exactly fifteen years ago. On January 20, 2001, on the last day in his office at the White House, Bill Clinton announced a decision to pardon the criminal fugitive Marc Rich, and he underlined the most reprehensible official act in his presidential career.

A warrant for Rich was issued for decades, and for a full list of crimes, including the illegal trade with US enemies. One of them is the Iranian religious leader and founder of the Islamic state, Ayatollah Khomeini, from whom Rich was buying oil while the Iranian, along with his so-called revolutionary fighters, held 53 American hostages in 1979.

How was Bill Clinton "paid" for his criminal abolition?

Rich has acquired his greatest asset at that time, between 1979 and 1994, through the sale of oil to the apartheid regime in South Africa, when it was faced with the UN embargo. He made trade deals with Muammar Gaddafi in Libya, Slobodan Milosevic in Yugoslavia, Kim Il Sung of North Korea and was on the list of ten most wanted of the FBI. In 1983 Rich fled to Switzerland.

Clinton’s criminal abolition began to uncover after it emerged that the former wife of Rich, Denise "donated" USD 450,000 for Clinton’s library and more than USD 1 million to the account of the Democratic campaign, just prior to deciding to pardon.

But "donations" do not stop here but continue even after Clinton's presidency, even by close associates, family and friends, lawyers of Rich.

One of them is a close associate of Rich, the Nigerian Gilbert Chaguru, who was also convicted in 2000, due to money laundering and aiding a criminal organization. After a while, the verdict against him is deleted. Therefore Chaguru has been very generous when it comes to the Clintons and organized performances and speeches by the spouses, for which they received USD 100 thousand. Simultaneously, he donated millions to the "Clinton" foundation, and his family was active during the presidential candidacy of Hillary in 2008.

The Russian tycoon Sergei Kurzin "donor" of the Clintons

Next on the list is the Russian investor Sergey Kurzin, who worked for Rich in the nineties - seeking appropriate investment opportunities in the torn apart Soviet Union. Kurzin was involved in lucrative contracts with Kazakhstan and other countries, like the one for purchase of 20 percent of the US Uranium facilities. At the same time, with the contract for purchase gave Clinton USD 500 thousand, for a speech held in Moscow. He was also generous to the Clinton Foundation, and his generosity is measured in millions.

Brothers Robben are also in the "family donors" of Clintons. Three brothers got rich thanks to their world-renowned company for metals, which according to the World Bank, was established precisely with "money from Marc Rich". Besides they have donated tens of thousands of dollars in Clinton Foundation they were standing as their supporters.

Beth Dosorec, the latest in a series of Rich’s friends,is a long-time donor to the Democratic Party and a close friend of the former wife of Marc, Denis. She played a key role in the making of the decision to pardon Rich. But she refused to testify against in connection with the controversial pardon of Rich. In the years after the scandal, Dosorec served the Clintons not only in financial terms but also as a co-chair of Hillary’s campaign.

Obama protected Hillary Clinton declaring her e-mailsas secret

A few months ago when 22 found emails made a serious problem in the presidential race of Hillary Clinton, for the first time, as analyzed by the United States media, an official e-mail was marked protected as a strict secret.

Such a decision was made by the President Barack Obama and it has been announced by the State Department spokesman John Kirbi, who said that the documents were not classified when they were sent, but after it was decided to be marked as a strictly guarded secret.

George Bush withdrew the legal penalty against Lewis Scooter Libby

Another kind of pardon by an American president registered as abuse in the history, is the one in 2007, when George W. Bush withdrew the legal penalty against Lewis Scooter Libby, a few weeks before he (a former chief of staff to the Vice President Dick Cheney) to serve a sentence of 30 months of imprisonment.

President Bush used the constitutional rights and withdraw part of the judgment, reached earlier in June of that year, which refers to the serving of the penalty, but Libby still had to pay a fine in the amount of USD 250,000 and to "be careful" in the next two years, which was the duration of his punishment period.
