After the downing of the SU-24 jet, Ankara has not taken a single step to normalize relations with Russia, spokesperson, of Russia's president Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov said.
He added that so far no steps were taken by Ankara after the incident, and it is not likely that anything of the sort will happen.
He assured that the perpetrators who downed the jet and caused the death of the pilot will get what a deserved punishment in Syria.
He alluded to the detainment of Alparslan Çelik in Turkey, who claimed the responsibility for killing the pilot of the Russian jet taken down by the Turkish army in November of last year. Celik stated that he shot the pilot Oleg Peshkov after he catapulted himself from the plane.
Peskov added that only the court can pronounce someone guilty and because of this he refused to comment Celik's detainment.
