Minister of Information Society and Administration Marta Arsovska-Tomovska met Friday with Australian MP Alannah MacTiernan.
The meeting was also attended by Zoran Kjoseski, Macedonia's Honorary Consul in Australia, and Vladimir Ristevski, representative from the Agency for Electronic Communications.
The Australian MP voiced interest in Macedonia's progress over the coverage with broadband internet and the quality of the country's IT staff.
"Minister Arsovska-Tomovska referred to the Government's activities regarding the set up of infrastructure, development of digital literacy among the population, IT education of young people, as well as future plans in the field. MP MacTiernan presented Australia's experiences regarding these issues", the Ministry said in a press release.
