German special envoy for Macedonia, Johannes Haindl, is set to meet Friday with representatives of the parties that signed the Przino Agreement.

In a press release distributed by the German embassy in Skopje, Haindl says time is short and all political parties should join forces to conduct the necessary reforms.

"I've come to get familiar with the situation and above all to hear everyone out. The aim is for the process, initiated by the EU and US, to come to fruition. I see my task as an active support of these efforts. The developments in the last few days have clearly shown once again that the time is short and that now a joint effort of all political parties is necessary for implementing the necessary reforms," Haindl says.

On Thursday, he met with Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki and VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski.

Haindl was appointed a special envoy to Macedonia by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier to work alongside the EU and US in solving the political crisis in the country.
