Turkey's government informed 4 suspected bomb manufacturers have been killed and 17 more injured in an explosion that occurred in the country's east, Euronews reports.
According to the Turkish Interior Ministry, fighters from the ousted Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were loading explosives onto a truck at Sarikamis.
Power supply in the village was cut and homes near the site were damage.
The material is said to have been intended for an attack on security forces.
Witnesses reportedly heard the blast in the region's biggest city Diyarbakir, some 25 kilometers away.
Two of those wounded were said to be in a critical condition.
The explosion came after an earlier car bomb detonated near a military facility in a suburb of Istanbul that left seven people injured.
