Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, believes that the statements presented by the Hague's Tribunal that feature the verdict of Republika Srpska's first President, Radovan Karadzic, that Bosniaks shelled its people and international institutions, should be reexamined.
Izetbegovic told the press in Sarajevo that he has not read the entire ruling against Karadzic and that he is not familiar with the grounds based on which the claims of the judicial council in the Hague were founded upon.
"Those are old claims and if the tribunal has confirmed them, then it should be seen based on which grounds it did that," Izetbegovic said.
The Hague's Tribunal judicial council concluded that Bosnia and Herzegovina's former army was bombing UN targets and territories under its control in order to draw the attention of the international community.
This statement was voiced during the pronouncement of Karadzic's sentences, who got 40 years in prison, by Judge O'Gon Kwon.
