Actressess Kirsten Dunst and Vanessa Paradis, actor Donald Sutherland and director Arnauld Desplaichin are to be the members of the jury of the 69th edition of the International Film Festival in Cannes, the organizers announced.
The jury, with which Australian director John Miller presides, will also feature Italian director Valeria Golino, young Hungarian director Laszlo Nemes, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen and Iranian producer Katayoon Shahabi. From the total of nine jury members, four are women.
The total of 20 movies will compete for the prestigious 'Golden Palm' award at this year's Cannes Film Festival, which will take place on May 11-22. The list features 'Julieta' by Spanish director Pedro Almodovar, 'The Last Face' by Sean Penn and 'Peterson' by Jim Jarmusch.
Woody Allen's latest film, 'Cafe Society', will open the festival. The main roles are played by Kristen Stewart and Jacey Eisenberg.
