A serious car crash occurred Friday morning, on boulevard Teodosij Gologanov near the old Alumina factory, in which a pedestrian lost his life on the spot.
The Interior Ministry informed that there still no concrete information of what exactly happened. A citizen reported the accident to them. The body of the deceased man, and the vehicle are still at the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, the man was crossing the pedestrian crossing when the vehicle hit him. No tire marks were visible at the scene. The victim was an older man. Police are inspecting the scene, and the traffic is ongoing, on one lane.
