A meeting took place on Wednesday between the Italian ambassador to Macedonia, Ernesto Massimino Bellelli, and Mayor Ratko Dimitrovski.
The two men discussed cooperation in terms of rice production, usage of thermal water in the region and mountain tourism.
"As a county interested in rice production, we will bring experts on the development and enhancement of rice production, particularly the Italian type 'Oryza san Andrea', a seed that would increase the crops and the production. For starters, we will put at the disposal our agriculture expert who works at the Agriculture Ministry in Skopje, so we can fully use his experience in terms of rice production," Ambassador Bellelli said.
He also attended the public debate dubbed 'Your Choice - Your Voice'.
