The civil movement 'I Protest' which is the organizer of protests in Skopje, is not registered anywhere, its members stated. They pointed out that the movement does not need to be registered and that it does not need to be paraded.

"We function as an informal civil initiative or movement. We use our right to protest as everybody else. We do not wish to establish ourselves as leaders, but as a group", Vladimir Delev, member of 'I Protest" said.

A civil initiative is established before the council and municipality of the City of Skopje upon a suggestion of a 100 citizens.

The demands of 'I Protest' are almost identical to those of SDSM leader Zoran Zaev. They are: postponement of elections indefinitely, forming a transitional government, reforms in the media and purging of the electoral roll.

At the protests, organized by 'I Protest', several major incidents occurred and those were: the demolishing of President Gjorge Ivanov's office, the stoning of the Justice Ministry, the attempt to violently enter the VMRO-DPMNE headquarters, as well as the paintballing of the Culture Ministry and Gate Macedonia.

During the protests on Wednesday, the monument 'Prometheus' and the City of Skopje building were pelted with eggs and paint-balls.

Such actions were condemned by the ordinary Macedonian citizens, who consider that the destruction of monuments and the use of violence for should stop.
