The European Movement in the Republic of Macedonia to mark Europe Day (May 9) is organizing Thursday coffee debate topics related to the current developments in the Macedonian society.
The event will be held in Café Trend and general framework of the debate is “Democracy-basic value of the European Union."
This kind of debate gives opportunity spontaneously (without the written papers) to express certain experiences, to present opinions and criticism, but also to create a new approach that offers a solution to the problem, organizers of the event said.
The goal is to identify the significant issues in the discussion on characteristics of civil society and the role of civil society organizations in bringing EU perspective closer to the citizens.
The professors Ilo Trajkovski, Zidas Daskalovski, Miso Popovic, Mileva Gjurovska and Konstantin Minoski are speakers at the debate.
The representatives of academia, government, parliament, civil society and activists of European Movement in the Republic of Macedonia are invited to attend the event.
