Macedonia was ranked 118th in the latest report published by the Reporters Without Borders organization.
Finland leads the list, followed by the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and New Zealand.
China, Syria, Turkmenistan, North Korea and Eritrea are at the bottom rungs.
A general conclusion of the report is that media freedom is on the decline across the world.
