The building of the Ministry of Culture was a new target of the protesters in Skopje that on Monday night, threw with eggs and paint on the facade of this state institution. Some of the missiles eggs and bags of color ended on the police officers who were defending the facility. In front of the Ministry gathered thousands of citizens who were demonstrating against the decision of the President Gjorge Ivanov to stop processes against politicians from the government and the opposition.
Protesters earlier gathered outside the offices of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office from where they proceeded to the Macedonian Assembly. There they remained about 40 minutes, after which they headed to the government. At the square they threw eggs on Porta Makedonija and several of them poured washing powder into the fountain "Warrior on a Horse" in the city square.
The crowd then headed to the government building, but the police prevented the access, after which the participants, through the boulevard "Partizanski Odredi" reached the building of the Ministry of Culture.
The protest was attended by a thousands of citizens. Besides the usual chants directed against the government, against the president and the resignation request, there are no other major incidents. There are no clashes with the police, and the only tension was in front of the Ministry of Culture.
