Museum of the City of Skopje will open Monday an exhibit with the works of Polish and European masters of the poster art, as part of the collaboration with the Polish Embassy and the Museum of Warsaw.
The exhibit will include works created since the first World Biennial Exhibit for Posters to this day, by prime artists of the Polish School of Posters, such as Lenica, Majewski, Mlodozeniec, Starowieyski, Swierzy, Tomaszewski, and others.
The exhibit will be promoted by the director of the Museum, Ljuben Tevdovski, and the Ambassador of Poland to Skopje, Jacek Multanowski.
In the frames of the exhibit, workshops for posters will be held in the following days, and the Polish embassy will be completely included in the new "Annual award for Poster of the Museum of the City of Skopje".
Through collaboration with the Polish government, the winners of the annual award for posters will have the opportunity to visit many international exhibits, including the largest Museum of Posters in Warsaw, where 55,000 art works of the first World Biennial Exhibit for Posters up until this day are exhibited.
