About 50,000 new applications for legalization of buildings have been submitted within the prolonged deadline expiring tomorrow, said Wednesday Minister of Transport and Communications Vlado Misajlovski.
"No additional applications will be admitted after the deadline's expiry on Thursday", added Misajlovski.
He expects the number to rise, taking into consideration the increased intensity of applicants in the final days.
The building legalization process was launched in 2011, when over 360,000 applications were submitted, followed by the additional deadline that expires March 31, 2016. Over 147,000 buildings have been legalized thus far.
