Following reports that a Greek army jet violated Macedonian airspace on two occasions on Thursday morning, the Macedonian Air Navigation (MNAV) authority said it has not registered such violations thus far.
Earlier, the Macedonian Army (ARM) told MIA that Greek jets carried out flyovers in Idomeni, but it cannot be determined whether they violated Macedonia's airspace without precise measurements.
Greek jets and helicopters flew over the Idomeni region in the framework of a military exercise dubbed "Storm", MIA reports from Gevgelija.
According to Greek media, the exercise serves as preparation for deployment of army troops at the Macedonia-Greece border as logistics in cleaning the Idomeni camp and dislocating refugees to reception centers across Greece.
