Of 87,352 voters who were subject to site inspections, 35,000 are not disputed on any grounds, while 41,435 will be further investigated. This is the result of Monday's marathon session of the State Election Commission that discussed the results of the field, cross and administrative check.
Despite those who during the field inspection for unknown reasons were not found at home, suspicious are those 8,354 voters who are not checked or for which there is no record.
All of them will be checked with a further cross-examination at the bases of the State Election Commission or the check will be performed by the Ministry of Interior Affairs. There will be no more field checks.
The State Election Commission members voted point by point for the reasons why these persons should be additionally verified such as a change of residence, death, going abroad and so on.
Bedredin Ibrahimi, who is a member of the State Election Commission, said we should not prejudge that these people do not exist but that it should be checked.
"A more important question is how these people have acquired a residence and if they appear in two polling stations. We should not generalize", Bedredin Ibrahimi considers.
Previously the State Election Commission, after the presentation of the check by the regional offices found out that there is a physical lack of 282 questionnaires during the registration in the electronic form, as well as 132 for which no data have been entered.
