After Sunday's attempt of Idomeni migrants to forcibly enter into Macedonia, the situation at the Macedonian-Greek border on Monday morning is stable and peaceful.

According to the chief of the Transit-Reception Center in Gevgelija Zoran Lazarovski, the situation in and around the camp is peaceful, as well as near the border elevation 59. He said that boosted police presence is noticeable in Gevgelija and that forces are ready to intervene and protect the border at any given time.

The Hospital's director Sretko Jovanov stated for MIA on Monday morning that only one out of the 15 injured policemen was transferred to Skopje's Clinical Center due to the gravity of his injury. The remaining 14 police men were released to recuperate at home.

The Interior Ministry reported that in Sunday's clashes with the migrants who tried to forcibly enter into Macedonia, 14 policemen and 9 Army members were injured, three police and 5 Army vehicles were damaged, including police and other equipment.

According to initial estimates, over 3,000 migrants participated in the disturbances. During the ordeal, Greek police officers did not do anything to stop the clashes at the border line.
