As much as a 71.6 percent of the respondents assessed that Serbia should not become a member of the European Union and the NATO, while over 55 percent of the respondents said that Serbia should stick to Russia, according to a research on the B92 and the CeSID.

Only 11.2 percent of the respondents said it was good for Serbia to join the European Union and NATO, and 14 percent were undecided on the issue.

The survey shows that in recent years there has been a growth of the euro skepticism, but that it is a common trend for the candidate countries.

In contrast, 55.2 percent of the respondents assessed that Serbia traditionally should stick to Russia, and the support for it is constantly on the rise. Slightly over 19 percent of the respondents disagreed with it, while 21.5 percent were undecided.
