While SDSM uses the maximum of the work of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office (SPO), and bases its campaign exclusively on SPO's activities, we employ, we create and that way we manage to remain on the political scene, answered President of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, on a question regarding the "Torute" case.
"Regarding the case which was opened Monday by the SPO, I believe the citizens know what is going on, why, and what is the goal. SDSM completely uses the work of SPO with the rhetoric that only benefits the party, and in that context I can say that SDSM's campaign for these elections is solely based on the activities of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office," Gruevski stated.
The party has no other campaign, he added, no other ideas, and while its members are occupied with such activities, we are working on opening new jobs.
"We have created 150,000 new job openings that have not existed until now. We have increased the pensions by 70 percent in average, and the lowest pensions by 90 percent. We have brought many new companies, and factories in Macedonia. We are building hospitals, have reconstructed 400 schools, we have built 70 new school buildings. We have constructed, and keep constructing new highways, regional, and local roads, creating projects and that way we manage to remain on the political scene. They do it their way, we do it by creating, by implementing measures, projects which help in improving the quality of the lifestyle of citizens," said Gruevski, who attended the ceremonial opening of an art exhibit of the second public call by the Ministry of Culture.
