There are conditions, and elections will take place, parties can take or not take place in the elections, said leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski at Thursday's press conference. Regarding the Wednesday's events, Gruevski pointed that it is untrue that media is not regulated, and added that they have a legal obligation to inform equally for everyone.
"There cannot be and there will not be intimidation during elections, and if there is, everyone will face consequences. There will be a special sector in charge of these cases, we will not tolerate such thing," Gruevski said.
He added that SDSM's staff did a classic meddling of the party in the public institutions.
"Regarding the meddling of the party and the state - that is what Zaev said, the same man who appointed his party's Secretary General to be an Interior Minister, the same Zaev who sees that the husband of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy has climbed a few steps up. Zaev underestimates the people very much," said Nikola Gruevski.
VMRO-DPMNE leader pointed that the opposition has no arguments for running from elections.
"The numbers of 300,000 and 500,000 are false. They want to bring confusion among the voters. What 500,000? Does anyone believe it is possible? Along all the observers, I am convinced that no one, not even SDSM believe this obscurity," Gruevski added.
