
The Chamber of Commerce of northwestern Macedonia met with the Besa political movement to discuss their economic program.
"Political parties can't define their economic platforms without receiving input from the business sector. As legitimate representatives of the business community, we are always there to offer our advice based on the experiences of our members", Chamber President Nebi Hoxha said following the meeting.
The Chamber supports policies that will lead to greater transparency and accountability in the use of public resources, new measures to create jobs such as training and skills oriented education, moving beyond the focus on cheap workforce and getting the GDP to grow above 4 percent.
In the run-up to the elections, the Chamber has already met with representatives of DUI and the Movement for reforms in DPA a faction of the DPA party.
Besa President Bilal Qasami said that the his movement will offer flexible political solutions. "We are here to listen to the proposals of the Chamber and to include them in our platforms", Qasami added.
