Parliament suspended the work on 98th session. The pause follows the request of the coordinator of the parliamentary group of party SDSM, Goran Sugareski, who after the ministers and additional deputy ministers from SDSM on Wednesday offered their resignations from the Government, asked the prime minister for conducting elections Emil Dimitriev, to immediately submit their resignations to the Assembly.
"In addition we have filed a request for an emergency session in accordance with the Constitution of Macedonia where their resignations will be acknowledged", Sugareski said.
Meanwhile, he announced that the parliamentary group will send a letter to the Parliament with which the laws that are being discussed at the 98th session will be withdrawn.
It is about the amendments to the Law on Forests, the personal income tax, health insurance and for audio and audiovisual media services. Previously, the majority did not support changes to legislation for declaring the old city core of Ohrid for cultural heritage of particular importance and for tourist development zones, also proposed by the opposition.
Parliament in 8 pm should continue with its work.
