Tens of thousands of Britons on Saturday expressed their love to the European Union on the streets of London, nine days after the referendum in which the country voted for Brexit, BTA reported.
The subjects of Her Majesty showed a great creativeness to say "no" to Brexit, waving hundreds of European blue flags with yellow stars, inflatable hearts on which were written slogans like "We will miss EU", "You are playing with our future" and the most common - "I love you, EU".
Creativity was shown in the choice of songs the people sang: "Don`t brexit my heart" instead the Elton John hit "Don`t break my heart" or "Never gonna give EU up" rather than "Never gonna give you up" by Rick Astley.
Participants in the demonstrations, many of them dressed in blue or wrapped in European flags, chanted "Hey, EU" instead of "Hey, Jude" by the Beatles and the Ode to Joy by Beethoven - the anthem of Europe.
At each passage of buses with open roof, which usually transport tourists in London, demonstrators cheered and chanted "EU, we love you".
Most of them said that they dream of "Breverse" - from Brexit and "Reverse".
