Eleven illegal migrants were apprehended near Radovis early on Saturday morning, as the smugglers who were taking them north tried to evade the police patrols.
Police flagged down three vehicles suspected of carrying migrants. Drivers sped away, and one of them drove outside of the road. The driver fled, and police found 11 migrants in his vehicle. Following an interview with a public prosecutor, migrants were housed in Gevgelija and Skopje centers.
